WHY NO COMMENT FROM THE F.O.P.??
We all know we are now the juiciest story to the media! WHY hasn't our F.O.P. stood up and made a comment? Why are WE Guilty until proven innocent? The stories are disturbing but a rush to judgement seems to be a violation of OUR CIVIL RIGHTS! How can any of these officers expect a fair and impartial jury and judging at this stage of the game? They have already been convicted by the MEDIA! Why care if these alleged offenders are Police Officers? I don't see any evidence that any of these incidents occured when they were working! Did they yell "POLICE" then kick someones ass? NO! These people are private, tax paying citizens of the City!!! With a job as a P.O., that is it! What if they were Firemen, Garbage men, Lawyers, Traders or Homeless??? IT WOULD NOT BE A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION!

This is supposed to be a smarter department. College degrees were going to make a huge difference in the quality of Police Officers. It seems to be doing the opposite. There is no need to change any rules and regulations. All we have to do is act like we are adults. Is that so damn hard? The upper brass should look real hard in the mirror. Maybe many should resign. I guess we will just watch a training video and all will be well again.
That old saying about having book sense and no common/street sense surely applies with whats been going on. What the hell is the matter with our police officers who resort to such physical and emotional violence? Lay off the vino!!!!
